Cherokee Lake in Thomasville, GA

I visited the beautiful park at Cherokee Lake in Thomasville, GA. Also on the grounds is one of the old town's rose gardens. The area is well-maintained and plays host to all sorts of wildlife.

"You must not know too much or be too precise or scientific about birds and trees and flowers and watercraft; a certain free-margin, and even vagueness - ignorance, credulity - helps your enjoyment of these things."
--Walt Whitman

A duck near the lake
Lilypad with water pooled on top
Squirrel jumping and making contact with the tree
Big catch, he even released it
Beautiful pink rose
Raptor perched on a log
Red rose
An old road sign right next to the lake
